Under the "Chargers" tab, as an Owner, you have an overview of all the charging stations in your charging system.
Associating a user with a charging station:
If you have charging stations that are owned by specific users, you can choose who should have access to charge at the different charging stations.
- Find the correct charging station you want to assign to someone.
- Select the user to be associated with the charging station from the dropdown menu in the "User owned Charger" field.
- Choose whether the user needs to identify themselves to start charging or not in the "Verification Requirement" field.
If you choose "Yes" here, only this user can start charging from this charging station. The user must identify themselves using a charging key fob, Charge365 App, or Portal to start charging.
If you choose "No" here, charging starts automatically when anyone plugs the charging cable into the charging station and the vehicle. All consumption is billed to the user associated with the charging station.
This option can be used, for example, if you have a charging system in closed private garages where it is not necessary for users to identify themselves to start charging.
Another use case for this solution is if the costs for charging at a specific charging station are to be covered by a single user, such as a company.
